Water Wave
When you throw a stone into a calm lake, a circle of concentric waves is created and spreads around. The phenomenon that vibration created in one place spreads to the surroundings is called a wave.
If you make a wave near the ball floating in the lake, the waves will be pushed to the lake, but the ball will not be pushed out and only vibrate in place. When the wave propagates, the medium vibrates only in place and does not move with the wave.
Deep water wave and shallow water wave
The shape of the water wave changes slightly depending on the water depth. When the water depth is high, the water particles move close to the circle.
If the water depth is shallow, it will be slightly different. Because there is a restriction on the up and down movement, it is a relatively elliptical exercise appearance. On the bottom floor, it moves completely horizontally.
