Vacuum Jar

Vacuum Jar

A vacuum jar(or vacuum sealer, vacuum container) is a container that can remove air using a pump.
Originally, vacuum jars were made as kitchen utensils to help meat soak in seasoning.
Now, they are used more in science labs around the country to observe the phenomenon that occurs when air pressure is lowered.
For example, if you put an object with a lot of air, such as a marshmallow (or balloon), inside the container and remove the air, the marshmallow (or balloon) will inflate.
